Release notes
Zurb Foundation 8.x-5.0-beta1 released!
As we're rapidly approaching Drupal 8's release and the 8.x-5.x branch of Zurb Foundation has reached an acceptable level of maturity, we've decided to release a beta to promote the theme. Please file issues and test out the new features in this branch so that we can move towards a stable release.
Features and changes:
- Support for Drupal 8.
- Foundation's Top Bar is supported for the Main Navigation menu, and works with sub-menus and sticky navigation.
- Foundation's Off Canvas regions are supported, and any Menu Blocks placed in those regions will automatically be themed with sub-menu support.
- Drupal's Status Messages are displayed by default in a Foundation Alert, but can also be displayed in a Modal window. Both can be closed and removed from the DOM after being displayed.
- Sass + Grunt is used in the main theme and sub-themes to compile your CSS.
- A Drush command for creating sub-themes is built into the script, so you can quickly spin themes up as needed (written before Drupal Console came around).
- Proves an example sub-theme ("STARTER") that you can copy+paste and manually edit if you don't use or have Drush.
- Additional theme settings added to improve flexibility and reduce the need to override templates.
Enjoy!
