Just launched this module yesterday in replace of cache_consistent and redis and ran in to a fatal today:
PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function menu_get_item() in apdqc/apdqc.module on line 867.
Of course that function exists in menu.inc but for some reason it looks like hook_init() was called before menu.inc.

joelpittetMy guess is maybe it's the js module with a lighter bootstrap or possibly authcache has loaded a lighter bootstrap.
I'm determined to track it down here's a patch in hopes to catch where that is coming from.
joelpittetYup it was the JS module.

mikeytown2 commentedGood to know. This will hopefully not be an issue once I create my own menu.inc file #2495985: Implement path_inc & menu_inc

mikeytown2 commentedCode in question has to do with the heuristics of prefetching cached items. If it doesn't run for these requests, no big deal. Committed this patch
