When editing or creating a node in IE9 the following JS error occurs:
Unable to get property 'add' of undefined or null reference (File: /core/assets/vendor/ckeditor/ckeditor.js, Line: 71, Column: 239)
This seems to prevent the loading of any existing content in the field when editing a node.
Also, when changing the text format the following JS error occurs:
Unable to get property 'getName' of undefined or null reference (File: /core/assets/vendor/ckeditor/ckeditor.js, Line: 281, Column: 12)
I do not get any errors when viewing http://ckeditor.com/demo in IE9 and this page loads a editor with pre-populated content.

wim leersWe just updated CKEditor to version 4.5.4 yesterday, at #2581291: Update CKEditor library to 4.5.4.
Could you please try Drupal 8 HEAD?

mlewand commentedI can confirm the issue, but couldn't get to the source of the issue. The problem is that
bodyofiframecontent window does not haveclassListobject. It's working on our demos, so we need to figure out what makes it to happen here.Comment #4
wim leersOkay, per #3 this is confirmed. Since Drupal is not at all involved in CKEditor's
<iframe>, AFAICT it can only be a bug in CKE itself, right?Comment #5
nod_IE9 right?
Same happened when I worked on IE8 module, didn't realize we did still support IE9 :þ

wim leersOhhh! Commented on that ticket.
This is therefore also something affecting Drupal 8.0.x.
mlewand commentedLooks to me that the polyfill is applied only to top window and that's the reason for the bug.
