I was having an issue with the built in jQuery updater of this module preventing administrators from uploading files to a node using file field uploads "upload" button. Clicking "save" on the node would upload the files, but they could not be uploaded with ajax, which is a problem since everyone wants to click that "upload" button after selecting their file.
Installing the jQuery Update module has fixed the issue for me. I don't know if this issue is worth fixing since the jQuery Update module fixes it.
If this issue affects more people than just me then perhaps it would be worth making jQuery Update a required module, and removing the built in updater.
