The first suggested fix was made in #2356509: Remove extra param doc from QueueDatabaseFactory in Oct 2014 and the second in #2038275: Convert hook_queue_info() to plugin system in Sep 2014. So, this can be closed. It is confusing that this issue was filed in 2015.

Closing as a duplicate because there are issues that have fixed this.

That's probably because the fixes were applied to other versions than 8.x-1.x as the OP specified. Never mind, this is behind us anyway.
