Please see my attached screenshot. Currently when adding multiple relations on a node, it creates a search button each time a new relation can be added after selecting "Add another item".

I think a great feature would be the following:

  • Have the input available by default, but hidden when no value has been selected. Currently it is not even available until a relation has been selected.
  • Change "Search" to "Add".
  • Clicking "Add" displays the View which allows you to select another Relation.
  • Consolidate input to hold one or multiple values, rather than creating a new input field per value.
  • Remove "Add another item"
  • Remove (Relation @relation_id) from $element['#title']

In total, this would make it possible to add prepopulate compatibility, allow a cleaner approach to adding relations, prevent adding two of the same relation, and would also allow sorting prior to saving the node.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.
