I think I've come across a scenario where conditionals are still being applied to the unfiltered view (i.e. Formbuilder). I may not have everything right here, but this is what I can deduce so far...
- Create a Webform using FormBuilder with:
- 1) A radio button or Select
- 2) A page break
- 3) A Fieldset
- 4) A component inside the fieldset
- Set up a conditional to show the fieldset when (1) is set to a particular value.
- Save.
- Reload the page.
When the page shows, the component inside the fieldset is not displayed. It looks like this is because when adding child components, Webform always checks against the conditionals filter - even when $filter is FALSE. In Webform.module:2586 Webform checked the value of $filter for the parent component, which seems to do the right thing. I think the same check just needs to be done again here. It may be more subtle than this, but this is where my understanding gets me to :)
(You might need to clear caches and also clear the ctools_object_cache.)

danchadwick commentedThanks! I didn't test with formbuilder, but I did without and it looks right to me.
