Hello, before I go off explaining the bug, I would like to tell you thank you for making this theme available. I am enjoying using it. so thank you

The problem I'm seeing is a table width problem in the center column. If the content is of a small width the center seems to shrink to match the width of the data. An example would be using your module wiht Site Menu. Currently it is a one colum up display, so the right side ends sides to the right, actaully into the center column area.

please advise,
jeff

I can't really visualize what your problem is from your description, can you provide a URL or a screenshot?

Note that this theme is 'liquid' not fixed width, that is it expands and contracts according to the size of the content. This is a feature not a bug!

The easiest way to replicate this problem is to load the flexinode/events module, or use civicspace (which loads it for you).

Press on the current month to see an enlarged calendar in the middle column and whammo ... your

What I would suggest is perhaps is getting rid of the tables to render 3 columns ... csscreator v2 can give you some instant relief:

If you think CSS is the solution to overlapping columns you're sadly mistaken. Many people use this theme precisely because it uses a table to contain the columns - it's a hybrid table/css layout in fact.
One day I'll get around to making a new theme that doesn't have a table, but I'm not taking them out of this one.

There you go again, is Drupal's content filter stripping your comment somewhat?
Your what overlaps what?

I have the same problem. I'm probably out of my league suggesting a fix but could you insert a spacer to force the column to a minimum width?

I'm no expert, so I'm sure this can be improved but I played around with the page template to try and force the centre column open. Attached is what worked best for me and was most consistent in Firefox and IE.

The content table is embedded into another table with two columns, the first just being a spacer column to maintain a margin for the list bullets. The outer table is set to 96% which was large as I could go before having scrolling in Firefox. The inner table centre column is set to 100%. And there is one final table embedded in left column to force a value. The table resizes by shrinking the centre content but forces to 100% of the screen size regardless of content or lack there of.

Firefox didn't seem to like spacer images or cell spacing / padding so the tables seemed like the best option to control the values.

I did notice a slight shift in the fonts inside the tables but I adjusted my CSS to my liking.

Anyway, like I said, someone more brilliant than I can perfect this but it does function so far.

None of the things you are describing are bugs in the theme as such. But problems caused by other modules outputing content that is either to narrow in the center column, or two wide in the sidebar.

The solutions lie in changing the css suplied with those modules, or at least redifining it in style.css on your site.

In the case of the flexinode event.module and it's calendar you need to change the css for that, so it takes up less space than 200px, or is liquid, adapting to the size of the sidebar. Alternatively you could increase the width of the sidebar in style.css, what I won't do is clutter up the stylesheet with styles for modules that not everybody uses.
