I think the bug is in the content entity datasource itself, but I'm not sure – anyways, I just noticed for comments that even when there are no bundles yet the form is still displayed – which, of course, looks odd for users. So I think we should also hide it if there aren't any bundles yet, even if the entity type has bundles in theory.

It seems comments now come with a default bundle, so this isn't as prominent anymore.
Still, very easy to fix.
