Can we have a diff against 7.x-1.x attached to the issue as patch so we kick in the automated test coverage? Code review done. Looks good to me.

Good thought on the patch testing. This is lame, but whilst I can create a patch, I only have access to an iPad at the moment so can't upload it to this issue.
