The date format in the date based access messages are showing in military style (24 hours), we think it should be better if it is in other format.

We should use a configurable date formatter instead of a constant. That way you can change it from the UI that already exists in Drupal.

There are some other locations too that should be updated.

In course.module we just use format_date('long') so maybe we should stick with that.

Fixed with a small change, just used the "long" format which we use in other places as well.
