The hook_block_view_MODULE_DELTA_alter() hook mentioned in the comments for block_example_block_view_alter() doesn't exist. Instead, hook_block_view_BASE_BLOCK_ID_alter() might be used.

I don't think there should be an issue with this patch. It's just an editing in comment. The patch also didn't gave any issues on my local instance.
