I'm translating one site and using this pretty handy module. The site has two languages and as I come to menu translation it's impossible to translate menu items created by menu_views.

Here's a patch that fixes the issue. I use the same context as core menu API does so it's easy to locate the menu item in the translation interface.

As stated in the documentation for t():

You should never use t() to translate variables... especially on user entered text

Menu item titles are a mix of coded and user generated text. This patch cannot go in as it would just lead to an XSS security issue and then have to be removed at some point in the future anyway. Sorry :(
