darrick commentedSet display: none for the css elements you want to hide. I.e.
#edit-field-merci-date-field-merci-date-button input {
display: none;
}

darrick commentedMaybe try adding a variable configurable on the config page. Default to 3 so as not to affect existing users or tests. MERCI does suffer from way to many config options. However, I've seen enough requests for this option that having it be user defined would be helpful.

genebobmiller commentedWhen is having a default of 3 ever useful? Surely the 'Add more' button takes care of that?
Thanks for your work on this module BTW

narrowboatdrupal commentedTo Derrick's point about there being too many config options; at least for how I use merci, some of the configuration flexibility has been helpful. As to the default of three... I have a vague recollection of reading a use-case about a camera store, or media-rental at a college. Camera, lens, and tripod are a typical combination. So maybe that's where the default of three options came from.
I have a bike rental client whose customers generally rent in pairs, one men's, one woman's frame, and only rarely rents just one bike. So two drop-downs would be optimal. But even if there was only one drop-down, and you had to click to add more items, it would not be a hardship. Also, this merci is not exposed to the customer, but it only used in-house.
And +genebobmiller I also want to thank you Derrick for your work on this module.

darrick commentedThe default has been 3 for the lifetime of the module. Giving a option to change that would be helpful. But most importantly current users will not see a change. I'm focusing on v3.x development. 2.x has been only bug fixes for the past two years.
PS: Thanks for the thanks.
