A couple of things to fix before I think this is ready to go into the guide:

a) When I read the "What is a path?" section, it doesn't actually tell me what a "path" is?

b) Please take out the task-oriented information -- the part that tells me how to do things (like how to add an alias to a page). We are trying to keep the topics separated into concepts and tasks, and this one is a concept topic. The page alias creation is listed as part of the coverage in the "content-create" topic, so that would be a good follow-on topic.

Come to think of it, we need to change the order of these two topics so that this concept comes before that tasks. I'll take care of that in the spreadsheet and book outline now!

c) The index entries need attention. You have:

(((Paths, Aliases, URLs, overview)))

This will not work the way you think it might... What we need is separate entries. Each index entry is:

(((Primary,secondary)))

So we need something like:

(((Paths,overview)))
(((Aliases,overview)))
etc.

d) Regarding Path Auto, we have plans to add this to the book (see "Configuring Automatic URLs"). The problem is that the Pathauto module is not available yet for Drupal 8, so we have delayed this topic. So could you add to the Related Topics list a @todo that says to link to this topic if or when it becomes available?

Oh wait, regarding Path Auto, we do have a file set up for this already, so you can link to the "structure-pathauto" topic as "related".
