Follow-up to #2225413: Move PHP version to 5.4 to drupal 8's minimum version.

Looking at https://drupal.org/requirements and https://drupal.org/node/473473, Drupal 8 has raised its php requirements to 5.5.9

I believe #2327263: Complete upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr is the best solution

Agreed that this is a critical issue.

Agreed. Applying the patch in https://www.drupal.org/node/2327263 allowed me to install Drupal 8 with the php5.5.9 minimum requirement. However, without this patch, VDD does not currently support Drupal 8.

This was fixed with #2327263: Complete upgrade to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr, as it now uses Ubuntu Trusty.
