I have received a request whether or not image cropping can be implemended to ad images.

Can it be done, and if so how? I have tried to add a CCK crop image field, but cannot get the ad module to accept the new image field.

The ad_image module simply uses the upload module to allow the uploading of images, and as such doesn't have any "advanced" image functionality. The ad module is not currently integrated with the CCK module, though this is on the TODO list already, and already being tracked in another issue.
