Orphaned controlled fields settings not working

Not working for me either for either 6.x-1.x-dev or 6.x-1.0-beta2

I have a 2 option radio field, one of them controlling a 6 option drop down, and each of the the 6 option dropdown controls one text field.

When you change the first radio, it shows the dropdown properly. When you select something from the dropdown, it show the text field properly.

But, when you change the first radio button back to the non controlling option, it does not hide the text field last selected.

I think this is what Orphaned controlled fields settings supposed to do.
