or not . I'm glad to see "UPDATE (2008-12-12): I plan to update this module to d6".
any .dev releases ? for testing purposes or new ideas

It's alive again. Please use the 6.x-2.0 release. Unfortunately Drupal 5 support is unlikely to continue.
