ifrikI've added a section Resources to link to the two existing style guides on Drupal.org that are relevant, added a short section on capitalizing headers, and edited the text a bit.

So... We're trying to stick to about 80-character lines... for the next patch it would be helpful if you didn't re-wrap everything, which made the patch hard to follow (hard to see what changed). Also I edited this file at the end of the day, so the patch didn't apply. Anyway, let's see.
The top of this file now says (from last night's edits):
Always follow the https://www.drupal.org/style-guide/content[Drupal.org Style
Guide] when writing and editing this guide, as well as the following
conventions.
because last night we also realized we needed the link to the style guide. :) So I kept the previous version.
I liked your wording in the second section, so I took that part, thanks!
Third section too.
UI section too.
Regarding Sentence Case, we have that information elsewhere.
And I added the link to the UI text guidelines to the top section.

ifrikAh... I hadn't noticed that the line breaks were on purpose, and was wondering how I had added them without intending to do so.
So much for me reading the Formatting guidelines :-)
