Voting starts in March for the Drupal Association Board election.

Any idea what's up with that? Servers taking holiday at the end of the year? ;)
Over in the comments of that post, people generally attribute it to poormanscron not running on developer laptops/dev & staging servers because they're on holiday. Makes sense, esp. given these dips didn't start being super prominent until D7, at which point that was added into core.
The only anomaly is May 2013, but that was DrupalCon Portland and maybe fewer people had client work at that time or something. :)
