Problem:

It would be nice to be able to grab the value that is being created by the functions: {mapper}_feeds_set_target

Solution:

Return the value that the function normally attaches to $entity so it can be used by other modules/mappers.

May not be a bug per say, but I don't see why the function cannot return the value.

Interesting idea. One concern: target callbacks provided by contrib wouldn't return the value, so that would make this behaviour inconsistent.

Drupal 7 reached end of life and the D7 version of Feeds is no longer being developed. To keep the issue queue focused on supported versions, we’re closing older D7 issues.
