Describe the problem you have found and a link to the page with a problem:
I asked to reset my password. The system sent an email with a hyperlink that takes to a page that asks for another hyperlink to reset password. I go there and it shows me as already logged in, but asks for my old password, which I don't have. Even the "Send new password" link just takes me to the same place. So my questions are:
1) Why does it show me already logged in?
2) Why does it ask for my old password when I'm asking for a reset because I forgot it?

I've attached the screen shots to show what I'm seeing.

It's most likely a cookie in your browser showing you as logged in - visit the Drupal website from a private browsing session (instructions depend on your browser choice) and try using the password reset then, also remember to copy-paste the link from the email into another PRIVATE browser tab/window.

This should resolve your issue, the alternative solution is to remove any cookies for drupal.org but I feel the private browser tab is probably simpler.

To answer point 2) in your issue, it asks for the old password because you are logged in. Resolving the logged in issue should also allow you to use a password reset link.
