btopro commentedsize / scope seem fine. Have we ever accepted CCL to the white list? I've never seen code / libraries licensed this way..

nesta_ commentedI'll try to add author GPL v2 license. This is used in a module that has included unused Libraries call but I do not think the right way. I'll try to add the license and make it my need Reviews.
Thanks mate!

kreynen commentedCreative Commons licenses aren't "compatible" with a GPLv2 license in the strictest sense of the word compatible. Not the way lax licenses like MIT and BSD are GPL compatible. While the new Drupal.org Licensing Working Group (LWG) is working on a draft to revise the 3rd party code and content policy to allow licenses like CC-BY-SA on content, I don't think we'd approve code with this license.
I've opened #2466167: Use of Creative Commons on code? in the LWG queue, but I don't think this can be whitelisted unless the license is changed.

gisleCC BY is now listed as a GPL-friendly license on:
https://www.drupal.org/docs/develop/packaging-a-distribution/drupalorg-d...
Leave this with status "Needs review" for two weeks to allow for discussion, before deciding what to do with this request.

gisleChanged component.
gisleIt is time to make a call on this.
There has been no discussion, and CC BY is whitelisted for non-code assets only, not for code.
The case is very similar to Javascript available under GPL3 or Apache2.
We currently do not whitelist these.
