After a user enrolls (by clicking the "Take course" button), they are directed to the /takecourse page.
I would like to redirect these users to the main course node (or first course object), since the /takecourse page seems rather empty.
I attempted to do this with rules, but could not select the /takecourse page as its a little different from a "course" content type page. Is there some other way I could achieve this?
Thank you so much for any help you can provide, I greatly appreciate it :)

djdevinHi,
You might be able to do this with rules. See #2418983: Any way to automatically navigate user to next course object on prior object completion? which is sort of similar.
I would react on a course enrollment update, and check the value of "timestamp" (this would indicate they have "started" the course".
Then you could use PHP to find the first course object, and redirect to it.
It'd be nice if there was a way to do this without PHP, but I don't think you can, yet.

rpataca commentedI would really love to be able to do this out of the box.
(i'll try the rules/php route)
OR the very least clicking on "Take course" would take you straight into the first course object rather than an outline view.

rpataca commentedFound this sandbox module that does just that. Might be worth a look.
