for d6: an "all postings/items" tweet for top level of entire site??? that would be awesome

so i'm creating a community site for a local town, would love to create a corresponding twitter account that gets updated whenever new content goes up on the drupal site - like what the wordpress twitter tools plugin does, sends a tweet like "userX has posted a new (blog entry)" - but in this case, it would capture all users and all items and throw them at the twitter account which will be setup ONLY by the site admin...

could this be achieved with the current twitter module?
