@KinmenQuemoy #drupalgap assumes clean urls are disabled, and aren't needed. I'm not familiar with nginx. Thanks for debugging though.

@FrankensteinTJ it isn't strictly needed but under drupal, without clean url, launch app link is .../drupal/?q=mobile-application/index.html

I've directly applied the patch and now it works. Before It didn't because I had downloaded the archive http://ftp.drupal.org/files/projects/drupalgap-7.x-1.x-dev.tar.gz which isn't updated yet... sorry my missunderstanding. Anyway now it works even without clean urls enabled. Tested on nginx 1.4.6
