How to contribute
Despite the chart module being the most commonly used for creating charts in Drupal, it has a major challenge to be addressed: it requires a charting library that is announced to be shutdown by April 20, 2015 (some more details on the project page). Issue #2368793: Chart 2.0 is a good place to start (a) to understand the kind of approaches are being worked on to address this challenge and (b) for anybody looking for ways to contribute to it.
If you ARE familiar with this module and looking for ways to contribute to it, please go ahead and contribute to these community documentation pages in whatever way you see fit. For inspiration about a possible structure of child pages to be created, checkout Forena Reports (another module that also supports charting).
If you're NOT familiar with it, but looking for other ways to "contribute" to it (because maybe you needed it badly?), contact the editor(s) of the chart related community pages and/or current co-maintainer(s) for details about how you can do so.
