The preview page is not working in edit mode with page breaks
The old values will be shown until the form is saved.
Tested in 4.2 without patch 4.2-dev with and without patch (issue 2419159 #10)

Just a question, is it possible to get aware (with token or php) whether it is a new submission or an edit?

Use a new issue for each separate issue.

Look in the token browser for a draft token. If it's not there, you can create a new issue.
