I have a growing list of groups, each with its own contextual calendar. I am using date (5.x-1.8), views, calendar, og and ical. (I am using arg handling code to manage context.)

I want to import an iCal feed into a particular group calendar.

Currently, the feed populates a generic calendar well, but it is not associated with a particular group. Is it possible to import context-sensitive iCal feeds?

The iCal tab doesn't maintain the group context in the URL (see screenshot for URL path at bottom of window and for context in breadcrumb.)

I understand this support request is more dependent upon my implementation. But, I worked the contextual groups/calendars out with Ted Serbinski, so I have every confidence this is possible.... yes?

(I cannot update to the Date 5.x.2-rc candidate at this time.)

Thanks so much,

Patrick Phillips

I'm not making changes to the 5.1 version. I'm officially recommending you move to the 5.2 version now. If you have problems in that version you can check for existing issues or add new ones. Feature requests are now getting posted to the D6 version to be back-ported to 5.2.

You'll have to see how this applies to the 5.2 version. There are a lot of improvements to the ical handling in that version, but there still may be other things needed, so file a feature request on that version once you see what you still need.
