Hi Guys,

I was in a space that has the basic sections (discussions, calendar, files, tasks) - clicked on the plus button and asked to add a file - which it did. So I then went to the "files section" and it was not there - it is tied to the space - but I was "expecting" it to be in the files section - just like if I chose discussion at the space level - it would figure out to put it into the discussion section.

So I then simply said - ok - let me "add a file" and wanted to browse from my files - but it only allowed uploads - I tried to find it in configuration - it maybe there - so situation normal don't rule out user (especially this one) errors.

Yep, the new Add File option doesn't seem to know what section to put the document node. We'll get that fixed for 2.30-rc2 within the next day or so.

To find the document that was created from your upload, you can use the new Content option in the "gear dropdown menu" on the space page and it will show you all of the content in your space. You should see the new document without any Section assignment. Edit the document and set the Section field and that will move it to your Files section.

Also, in rc2 you'll have the option to create a normal Document Page in addition to the Add File option for File sections.
