This module is really useful, but there are a couple patches in the works on the Views trunk that might be duplicative? Also, the approach shows in the related issue allows all configuration from the Views UI without having to go in to the moduel settings and enabling the range comparison. https://www.drupal.org/node/1829506

Hi Robert,

We are now in the year 2015 with D8 months away. So I'm a little sceptic as to whether the Views team will have the time and desire to add much new functionality to D7.

Obviously a patch to Views for something relatively small like this would be preferable and would make this module obsolete (hooray).

Until such time this module offers a solution for those who do not wish to maintain patched versions of Views.

The somewhat clunky UI is, if I remember correctly, a side-effect of realising the desired functionality for Views without changing a single character in Views itself.
But I may be mistaken on this last point.
