Hi,

I've spent days searching for an answer to this and hope that someone can help me with this.. Hoping it's simple and I'm just missing something silly.

Webform data is being compiled into the database. All viewable in table/submissions, etc.

Download/export produces file in tmp folder but the download does not "begin now" and clicking "download file here" produces a page saying that "No export file ready for download."

I've re-installed cleanly and still same answer. Help!

No idea. Javascript disabled maybe? I don't see how we can provide much help without seeing what's happening. I'd try this in a development environment where you can set through the code to see what's happenng. Also ensure that your data doesn't have any illegal characters Try exporting to csv or tsv, which is less susceptible to illegal characters.

I am having the same problem. This is probably also related to #2101643. I'll be cross-posting there.

The file is being generated correctly (it shows up in the /tmp folder with the expected contents) but the download page does not recognize it.
This is caused by $_SESSION['webform_export_info'] being unset. (Tested with watchdog debug statements there)
The cause of this is, I think, in webform_results_batch_results (in webform.report.inc) where the following code is used
if (isset($_SESSION))
as a test to see if we are operating in drush execution (drush wfx) or not.
In my case, $_SESSION was unset at this point.

We had the background batch processing module installed. Disabling it fixed the problem.
So, this bug was related to the interaction with that module (for us).

Hope this helps!
