FYI my plan is to work through all of the issues that have been marked for the 6.x-5.x, 7.x-5.x and 7.x-6.x branches excluding the 5.x-6.x upgrade, release 6.x-5.2, 7.x-5.9 and 7.x-6.0-rc1 and then do the upgrade path before the final 7.x-6.0, that way all three will have releases with all of the same fixes and it won't hold up anyone who's already running the 7.x-6.x branch.
