It would be interesting to get some more manual test coverage for different OS (maybe even mobile devices) etc.

On the other hand I guess this would be pretty simple to fix.

Last significant change to the states.js file was 2 years ago. There is either a problem in how it's set from the PHP or we're hitting an edge case or even there is a JS confilct somehow. Either way, need steps.

Looks like @idebr's fix didn't get included in the next few patches over at #2315773: Create a menu link field type/widget/formatter, so I re-rolled the latest with those included, and I'm not seeing the issue anymore. Closing this as cannot reproduce.
