Warning: strtr() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in admin_menu_tree() (line 27 of /home/getreferences/public_html/sites/all/modules/admin_menu/admin_menu.inc).

I'm using Drupal 7.34 and I just updated this module and got the above error message. Please help. Should I roll back to a previous version - seems wrong to do so (plus I did not write down the version I had installed before the update).

-Thanks-

(Follow:) Same here.

According to my local git, I had been using 7.x-3.0-rc4 before upgrading to -rc5.

Interestingly enough, this piece of code within function admin_menu_tree() doesn't seem to have changed at all between versions.

Anyone get to the bottom of this, should I just rollback a version until ready?

I rolled back to the last version and that worked fine so am gonna stick with that until i see otherwise. Unfortunately i cannot help as it's well beyond my capabilities!

This notice is caused by contrib module that implement their own hook_admin_menu_map(). You can use the attached patch in combination with the Devel module to find which module is causing the notice. You can then open an issue in the corresponding module to have it fixed.

Here is a screenshot with the patch attached.

Oh-kay. In my case, it seems to be [node_registration](https://www.drupal.org/project/node_registration).

I am also getting this with Drupal 7.34. Not using the 'Fieldable Panels Panes' module, nor 'Node Registration' but if Admin Menu is conflicting with at least 3 other modules, seems prudent that the fix be applied to the Admin Menu module, no?

I new version of flag module has been released today which resolved this error message.

That does not resolve this issue completely, but it's a start!

Thanks idebr - your admin_menu-strtr-do-not-test.patch in #5 is super helpful!

I am sorry for no reply until now.

There are many issues regarding this module admin_menu which is a bit difficult for us to follow up since some of the issues might be already outdated, or is already fixed by the module or any other modules or itself core which means that the problem might no longer need to be fixed.

We can see that the issue has been created for a few years ago, I hope it is okay for you that I am postponing the issue, and give you around two weeks. If you still face the problem, could you tell us the step by step when until you get the error message or what is frustrated you, and a list of modules you are using related to admin_menu and a screenshot that might help us? So it makes us easier to reproduce your issue.

However, after two weeks with no feedback - we will close this issue. So in case, you noticed it after the issue is closed, do not hesitate to reopen it like and fill information which is mentioned above.

So before giving us a feedback, do you mind to test it again with our latest 7.x-3.x-dev?

Thank you for understanding! :)
