Title: Tag a 7.x-1.3 release » [META] Plan for Pathauto 7.x-1.3 release

Lets set this issue as the parent for any issues that should be included in the next release.

Any news on getting a 1.3 tagged release. It seems much better than 1.2.

dave reid’s picture

Agreed, working on reviewing the issue queue now.

A minor comment: How about Adding this parent issue to the Project page? To increase awareness and bring community attention to 1.3 release blockers.

dave reid’s picture

@Georgii: No, I have no desire to do so.

How about we just do this. It has now been 3 years since the last release.

This is one of those fantastic modules that is in ever drupal project, but is always set to dev release.

FYI "Plan" is the correct category for these types of issues.

I don't think the plan should be a parent of another plan.

I was linking them that way because 1.4 can't happen before 1.3 is done, which is somewhat similar to a hierarchical relationship,

Looking forward to #1784874: Token dialog and #867578: Add drush commands for bulk alias updating/deleting making it into a stable release.

Leeteq’s picture

IMO, drush integration should not delay a 1.3 release.

And I just moved an issue over from 1.2 to -dev queue, with this comment:

"This issue has been lingering in the 1.2 queue for long time, not sure if it is still an issue. If so, would it be relevant for 1.3 or 1.4 release, given its "critical" status?"

Ref. #2278085: Pathauto does not pick up new aliases when using Locale.

The only thing holding up a 7.x-1.3 release is #936222: Merge in pathauto_persist module functionality to prevent losing manual aliases with node_save() calls. As soon as that gets a review and confirmation from someone else, I'll make the release.
