I have Flickr Galleries in many sites that I manage and they were working fine,
but now no images show up on the flickr page. The error I get is:
"No pictures available". I use Drupal 7.28, Colorbox and the latest modules.
One by one, the sites are losing their galleries. I did not see any other like issues on here.
I have tested on simplytestme and it does not work there either.
Please advise. Thanks.

Recently Flickr made some changed to their API, this module needs to be updated. Will try to do it when i find some time. Patches are also much appreciated :)

You need the latest dev version from the Flickrgallery and Flickrapi module, make sure to clear your cache (maybe also browsercache)
If it still does not work, remove your flickrapi acces token and request a new one.

To DonnyCarette, thanks, but I have done all that and no luck.
I will try shivachevva's patch next.

What are you using for the images on the Flickrgallery settings page? (Option Choose who's responsible to build the images)
I would suggest for testing to use the option 'images build by Flickr'. If you use the Drupal imagestyles, you need to make sure that those are flushed.
When you look at the page on your site, do you see anything in the sourcecode?
All Flickr images should start with https:// now

Had the same issue i.e the "No Pictures available" message and I'm sure I had the same settings for the last 6 months.
I can confirm that shivachevva's patch has solved the issue.

The last flickrapi dev version seems to contain a lot of changes.
So when people still have this issue:

  • use dev version from Flickrgallery
  • download flickrapi 7.x-1.4 and patch with the file from shivachevva

When the rebuild of Flickrapi is done we can release a new version for flickrgallery
Thanks to shivachevva for this flickrapi patch!

Hi All,

I am also getting the same issue, previously sets images are displayed properly but now they are not displaying. I tried and applied patch in my system but no result. Is there anyother way to embed flickr gallery in Drupal 7. And I want to display all gallery albums and photos in my application only.

Thanks Inadvance..

Kiran,

Are you using Flickrgallery 7.x-2.x-dev version and flickrapi 7.x-1.4?
This should work, if not try:
- to clear your cache (multiple times)
- if still not working, delete your flickrapi acces token and renew
- what imagestyle are you using? If it's the drupal imagestyles, try the default Flickr

kirankumar_k’s picture

Yes Donny,

I am using the Flickrgallery 7.x-2.x-dev (https://www.drupal.org/project/flickrgallery) and using flickrapi 7.x-1.4(https://www.drupal.org/node/1552828). And also I have applied the patch shared by shiva chevva.

1. Renewal of flickr access token means are we need to regenrate?.
2. I am using default drupal imagestyles only.

Still facing the issue...

Kiran,

Try with the first option, see http://cl.ly/image/3K0o2F3N2O2T
I did not tested with the Drupal imagestyles, if the first option works you can try the drupal imagestyles again, but you need to flush the existing images for that style.

Hi Donn,

Do you have any idea to generate api key in flickr, because they are changed the api key generation format, so i am in confusion.

Thanks Inadvance..

kirankumar_k’s picture

Hi Donny,

I have regenerated the flicker api token, and still I am getting issue. Is there anyway to solve it?

Thanks Inadvance..

Hi ShivaChevva,

You said it is resolved, may i know how it is done?

Thanks Inadvance...

Hello, I never installed a patch before and with some reading this is what I did with Terminal (Mac OSX):

Last login: Fri Jul 11 17:28:39 on console
iMac-van-Wim:~ wimtillon$
iMac-van-Wim:~ wimtillon$ cd/Applications/MAMP/htdocs/bbw/sites/all/modules/flickrapi

iMac-van-Wim:flickrapi wimtillon$ patch < flickrapi-7.x-1.4-No-pictures-available.patch
can't find file to patch at input line 5
Perhaps you should have used the -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:

I guess the 2 "hunks" are not good news or am I wrong? If so, what did I wrong and how do I have to do it?
Thanks for your help guys,
Wim

This should be done in flickrapi, not here. Actually, the flickrapi module is recently updated to fix this.

This issue was resolved for me. I thought we had the dev version installed, but we did not.
That fixed it. I did not need the patch. Thanks for all the comments.

bmit’s picture

To clarify about this issue being resolved for me, this is in response to Donny Carette for when he said:
"You need the latest dev version from the Flickrgallery and Flickrapi module, ..."
The key word there was "dev" which I did not catch the first time. That was all I needed to change.
I had the latest API and oauth modules. I did not need the separate patch. I just needed to get the latest dev module.
Thanks again.
