The settings page of this module shows the following error on access:

I see no use of $formid in the function, removing it does not seem to cause an issue

The module is referencing a function that doesn't exist in line 295 of webform_matrix_component/components/matrix.inc.

Changing
$form = ahah_example_callback_helper();
to
$form = _webform_matrix_component_ahah_callback_helper();

Fixed it for me. I can submit a patch if you want but it's a pretty simple change.

Well that fixed the ajax error but the changes don't save.

Yeah I could never get it to work. I ended up using the Webform Table Element module instead.
