Happens in splitKeys()

Should be removed and instead it should rely on the ignore case processor for that.

Tests should to be updated to test this behavior without and with the ignore case processor I guess, to make sure the altering works correctly?

Has this maybe been fixed already? At least I think there is now a test with the "Ignore case" processor in there.

splitKeys() still has a hardcoded strtolower() in there.

Forgot this issue, sorry, there is now some more discussion in #2557291: Fulltext search in DB Backend mixes up normalized values.
