I have a drupal site.its showing to me to upgrade it 7.27 to 7.28 version. but i am unable to upgrade it.when ever I am upgrading its showing some error-
"Unable to create directory 'temporary://update-extraction-8cfc067e/drupal-7.28/'"

I searched on internet some are saying to change the path of tmp file.which is under config->file system->/tmp. i changed it /tmp to tmp file.After that its showing "Automatic updating of Drupal core is not supported. See the upgrade guide for information on how to update Drupal core manually."but its not worked for me.please help me to get rid of this problem.
