Slogan not appearing in site title

I have multiple sites all running the same version of Zen and the same settings. Two will display the slogan in the site title, and two will not. I cannot find any difference in settings or versions or whatever else i could think of. I don't see any errors or messages and haven't messed with any code.

Any insight on what might be wrong? And more important: how to make it work!
