Show snapshot and/or create 6.x-1.0 release

I concur

I'm not a dev and this is my first shot at a patch for a drupal module. I reviewed the drupal 5 to drupal 6 module update notes and took a whack at making some changes to the code, based on that. This is entirely untested, but may be a place to start for someone who knows better than I. Hopefully I grabbed some of the low lying fruit, leaving the fun challenges for those who can handle that. :-)

I'd appreciate feedback on what I did, especially what I could have done better. Thanks.

flickerfly, I had trouble with your patch, the info file and schema changes did not seem to work. I've made some modifications that work on my installation.

In a brief trial it worked for me. So, I'm changing this to be "show 6.x-1.x-dev snapshot and/or create a 6.x-1.0 release" so that people can find it more easily.

And...done.
