Am setting up a site in Open Atrium 2 on Ubuntu and have successfully set up comments with the additional fivestar module on Open Atrium Document Pages (under /admin/structure/types) but replicating the same configuration for Section Page and Space does not appear to work.

When configured there is no option to enable comments on new or existing sections and spaces.

Am unsure if this is expected behavour?

We would ideally like to have the comment feature enabled on the vast majority of pages.

This is, in fact, by design. There is code in oa_core that purposefully hides the comment settings on the Space and Section add/edit forms.

However, if you edit the Space and Section content types and set the the default comment settings, it should respect those! So, you can still change the default and have it reflected in new nodes, but not update old nodes.

But we probably should have a way for certain admin users to still see the comment settings, maybe with a permission?
