my color attributes of product based on TERMS,

And when I create new PRODUCT VARIANT and type some color in TERM AUTOCOMPLETE FIELD, after saving PRODUCT VARIANT (not whole PRODUCT DISPLAY) - TERM with color NOT created, and when I try add another PRODUCT VARIANT with previous color - is not recognize, because is not created.

That is true. We might need to forbid the autotagging autocomplete widget inside IEF.

This could also be fixed by making the save button of each inline entity actually save the entity instead of waiting till we save the parent form.
This can also be a useful option when you need to use the nid of a child in another child (such as an entity reference between children).

Hello there,

I have a different use case, but the problem is basically the same:
Is there a method to actually save the inline entity when I hit 'Save' ? I need its nid to filter results in another field in the same form.

There seems to be a wide discussion about saving the referenced nodes instantly on creation. Are there any updates on this issue?

Due to limited developer time old feature requests for IEF are being closed. If you still have a need for this functionality, then you may feel free to reopen the issue. But please note that if you are still using Drupal 7 and would like for this functionality to be added to the D7-compatible version of IEF, then our limited resources and lack of interest may prevent that from ever happening.
