Is it possible to add an option to disable the external links of images? Because sometimes we use some images from Flickr or other services, the external link icon is strange for it.

Hmm, this should already be the case. Are you sure you're running the latest version of extlink? If so, could you post what version of jquery you're using (Drupal 5 stock, jquery_update, or some other version)?
