The Fitvids Default values for video containers and custom iframe urls need to be updated. Specifially, there needs to be an http:// included for the more unique VOD providers such as Cloudcast.

@libkuman... it's even easier to set these values in the profile than I thought. You can simply include them in the profile's .info with a format like...

; ----------
; Variables
; ----------
variables[admin_theme] = 'seven'
variables[date_default_timezone] = 'America/Denver'
variables[filter_fallback_format] = 'plain_text'
variables[node_admin_theme] = '1'
variables[node_options_page][0] = 'status'
variables[theme_default] = 'cm_theme_zen'
variables[update_last_email_notification] = 1401713003
variables[user_pictures] = '1'
variables[user_picture_dimensions] = '1024x1024'
variables[user_picture_file_size] = '800'
variables[user_picture_style] = 'thumbnail'
variables[user_register] = 2

If you install https://drupal.org/project/profiler_builder with the https://drupal.org/project/profiler library, you can export most variables in a site. This means we can actually remove lines like http://cgit.drupalcode.org/cm_starterkit_easy/tree/cm_starterkit_easy.pr....

Adding a comment for myself.

Look in the fitvids and picture modules' config settings to find the variables we want set in the profile

So I found the two variables in the setting form form in the fitvids module relating to "Video containers" and "Custom iframe URLs" but I"m not sure what values to set them too.

variables['fitvids_selectors'] = ''
variables['fitvids_customselectors'] = ''

here is the help text for the containers:

"Only YouTube, Vimeo and Kickstarter are supported by default, but you can tell FitVids about videos from other sites by adding the domain of the player.
E.g., "http://www.dailymotion.com". Use a new line for each URL. You don\'t need to add trailing slashes"

here is the help text for the iframe URLS

"Older versions of the media_youtube and media_vimeo modules wrap videos in HTML which may stop FitVids working properly. Enable this to remove the unneccesary markup."

I also need to be added as a maintainer for the easy starter kit.

media_cloudcast and media_archive are 2 I know sites are using, but this is the type of "bikeshed" issue that anyone working in community media might have feedback on. Should post the question to https://groups.drupal.org/community-media. If no one responds, then just go with those 2

Attached is the screenshot of my Fitvids settings.
We use Media_Cloudcast and are using the CM Theme based on Zen.
