When users without the administer nodes permission see a user in a view click to view the usernode of a blocked user, they get access denied. It's a terrible mind game to let people see the user in a view, but not see the content when they click to see. This patch adds the option to use the content type default from admin/settings/content-types/usernode. This way, users with the administer users permission can see both the usernode and user profile without having to also have administer nodes or having a content admin switch usernodes to be published.

Previous patch against 4.7.x is still valid and desired. Here is one against 5.x.
