The latest release of responsive-nav.js has a new version string (responsive-nav.js 1.0.25) instead of the old expected format (responsive-nav.js v1.0.xx).

Sorry, you are correct. This one includes the patch from #2172355: Version detection of library excludes zeros, thus reports always version="1.".
There might be a better way for version detection, as this patch prevents the module from running with older versions of the library. Maybe the project page should be updated to reflect the changes?
