Comparing the drop down list back to the list of icons in the bundle can be a pain when your dealing with 150+ icons.

Suggestion: wrap icons with a Span tag with the icon name as the title.

There's no need to wrap it in an additional <span/> tag, just add it as:

'#attributes' => array(
  'title' => $icon,
),

FWIW, I have much higher plans with displaying the icons. I just never got around to it and haven't had the time yet to improve the overall experience.

I've also added an alter hook here, this would be useful to allow modules to alter these icon listings (ie: for the Bootstrap base theme to use it's tooltip plugin instead).
